Training Suite

A built-in LMS that closes the loop on learning.

Built-in LMSWeb + MobileCPD CertifiedRole-based pathsReal-time reporting

The hard part was never delivering a course. It's proving the right people were re-trained after an incident, that they understood it, and that you can evidence it on inspection day. Training Suite turns every incident, policy change and gap into targeted retraining — and every completion into provable competence.

The shift

Completion is not competence. A certificate isn't evidence.

The old way

  • Training lives in an LMS; incidents, policies and risks live somewhere else.
  • An incident happens — but nobody links it to who needs retraining.
  • Records show “completed” while staff describe uncertainty in practice.
  • Refreshers lapse unnoticed until an inspector finds the gap.

With CompliantCare

  • Training is wired to incidents, policies and risks — one connected loop.
  • An incident automatically assigns the right retraining to the right people.
  • Understanding is checked and recorded — competence, not just attendance.
  • Overdue refreshers escalate before they become a finding.
How it works

From event to competence, automatically.

01
An event triggers it

An incident, a policy change, a new risk or a lapsing refresher — the platform decides who needs training and why.

02
The right people are assigned

Retraining goes to exactly the staff affected — by role, team or the individuals named in the incident. Not a blanket email.

03
It confirms understanding

A short check confirms people understood, not just clicked through. Competence is recorded, not assumed.

04
It becomes evidence

Every completion is timestamped, linked to its trigger and mapped to your training matrix — inspection-ready by default.

Proof, not attendance

The evidence inspectors actually ask for.

Inspectors look beyond course completion. If records say “trained” but staff describe uncertainty, that's recorded as a competence gap — not a paperwork one. And if a past incident was linked to a training gap, they expect verifiable proof it was closed. Training Suite gives you exactly that, per person, on demand.

  • A live training matrix mapped to roles and risks
  • Understanding confirmed, not just attendance logged
  • Every completion linked to the incident or policy that prompted it
  • Overdue refreshers escalated before they lapse

Auto-enrol

New starter to fully-competent, on rails.

Every hire is auto-enrolled in the right induction pathway for their role, on Day 0. Reminders, escalations and evidence handle themselves — you see the exceptions, not the busywork.

Day 0HiredAuto-enrolled in 12 role-based modules from their contract type.

Policy cascade

When a policy changes, training follows it.

Policies never sit still in healthcare. When one is updated, Training Suite automatically reassigns the training that goes with it — to the roles it affects, with a fresh understanding check.

Linked Intel

See how it all connects.

Training Suite is wired into the rest of CompliantCare, so every completion links back to the incident, policy, risk or audit finding that prompted it. Linked Intel is what lets you prove the learning happened, and that improvement over time is real.

Prove the learning happened. Every completion cites the incident, policy or gap that triggered it.
Demonstrate improvement over time. A recurring theme fades from the incident log after the training lands.
Spot competency gaps across modules. Cross-team analysis shows where role-based pathways need extending.

Bring your own SCORM or xAPI content and Training Suite records completions and evidence the same way — or start with our CPD-certified library on the topics healthcare buyers ask for on day one.

“This is so unique — it's the closing of the loop. Showing what happened, what we learned, and that staff are reading and acknowledging that change.”

Willful neglect

is how regulators often treat training failures — the highest penalty tier — and settlements routinely cite training deficiencies as a contributing factor.

Safe & Well-led

training evidence is assessed under both CQC key questions; a matrix with blanks or expired dates reads as a governance gap, not an admin one.

FAQ

Training Suite: common questions

Is this a replacement for our existing LMS, or does it sit alongside?

Both patterns work. You can run Training Suite as your primary LMS (out-of-the-box CPD-certified content, role-based paths, real-time reporting), or keep your existing LMS and have Training Suite record completions and evidence via SCORM/xAPI. Most healthcare customers migrate over 60-90 days.

How does an incident actually trigger targeted retraining?

When an incident is logged and reviewed, the reviewer can nominate the training gap (or accept the platform's suggestion based on the incident category and staff involved). Retraining is auto-assigned to the exact people, with a short understanding check on completion, and evidence linked back to the incident record.

Do you have Statutory & Mandatory content out of the box, or do we bring our own?

Out of the box, CPD-certified: Duty of Candour, Safeguarding L1–L3, Oliver McGowan (Tier 2), Information Governance, Fire Safety, Manual Handling and more — refreshed continuously as guidance moves. You can also upload your own SCORM/xAPI content, or link to modules your organisation already licenses.

How do you handle expiring certifications and refreshers?

Each module carries its own refresh cadence (annual, 2-yearly, whatever the guidance says). Reminders escalate to the person, then their manager, then the compliance lead — before the certification lapses, not after. Overdue records surface on your training matrix in real time.

What does a CQC inspector actually see?

Per-person training records with completion dates, understanding-check scores, and the incident or policy trail behind each. Training matrix mapped to Safe and Well-led. Overdue and expiring items visible on demand, not just at inspection. Exportable as a PDF or CSV in two clicks.

Can auto-enrol be configured per role, per site, per contract type?

Yes. You define learning paths per role (or team, site, contract type) and the platform enrols each new starter on Day 0 automatically. Manager sign-off can be required at each stage, or the whole path can run to completion with only the exceptions escalated to you.
